This piece is the cover illustration for a book in the DC Books poetry series. I don't want to do any disservices to the author by attempting a plot summary (especially as I only read excerpts). I can say this much though: it's titled 'Unisex Love Poems', it's by Angela Szczepaniak, and my piece captures the underlying themes and motifs perfectly.
